The days of the “dream retirement” on a beach in Florida seem far fetched for many here in America today. After decades of being loyal “consumption consumers” with little to no savings, baby boomers are waking up to the nightmare that time is slipping away in terms of them being able to retire on time (and live remotely close to their current standard of living).
What is interesting is that this scary phenomenon is not just rampant here in America. It is happening everywhere, with the United Kingdom probably feeling it the worst.
